UniCredit Bank offers its clients services in respect of
transactions that involve foreign exchange conversion.
The following are the main transactions that involve foreign
exchange conversion:
- statutory sales by Russian exporters of
part of their foreign currency proceeds for rubles
- sales of foreign exchange for rubles to
finance ruble payments
- purchases of foreign exchange for
rubles for payments to be made on imported goods and
services
- payment for imported goods and services
when the payment currency under the import contract differs from
that of the account from which payment is made
- purchases of foreign exchange of one
type with foreign exchange of another type to supplement the
account in the purchased currency (e.g. to protect funds from
devaluation as a result of fluctuation in exchange
rates)
UniCredit Bank offers clients wishing to sell or purchase
foreign exchange for rubles the opportunity to conclude an
appropriate transaction with the bank at its own rate, or at the
Moscow Inter-Bank Currency Exchange (MICEX) at the stock exchange
