The Russian Forbes has presented its annual ranking of banks for Private Banking customers. It is the first time that UniCredit Private Banking Russia, UniCredit Bank’s unit, made it to the TOP-5, ranking 5th.

This proves that we are going in the right direction,” says Igor Ryabov, Head of UniCredit Private Banking Russia. “We persistently strive to meet our customers’ expectations and get better by relying on UniCredit Group’s 30 years of expertise and capabilities.”

Forbes has been ranking the best Russian banks for Private Banking customers since 2016. It factors the market professionals’ and independent experts’ opinions in the ranking. This year, Forbes has improved the ranking methodology: it has engaged independent analysts from Frank RG to make the list and used a number of new criteria to rate the banks. These include: total number of the private unit’s customers, number of customers with financial assets over $1 mln, deposit interest rates, and number of the financial institution’s ratings.
