UniCredit Bank launches the Samsung Pay service for its card holder customers
Starting from today, UniCredit Bank’s card holder customers could use Samsung Pay. It allows the customers to choose the most comfortable way to pay for purchases among contactless payment services already available to the Bank’s clients.
Samsung Pay is a convenient and secure mobile payment service. It is accepted for payment wherever it is possible to make a purchase on an ordinary bank card using a contactless technology or a magnetic strip, thanks to Samsung's own technology MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission).
To pay for purchases UniCredit Bank’s customers do not need to use cards: they need only a smartphone or a Samsung wearable device. To pay with Samsung Pay you need to swipe up from the bottom of the screen to select a card, then confirm the transaction using fingerprint, iris recognition, or PIN entry, and bring your smartphone to the terminal.
In addition, Samsung Pay on your smartphone allows you to pay for purchases on the Internet and using mobile applications of online stores, as well as quickly and conveniently make money transfers.
Three-level protection ensures the safety of purchases with Samsung Pay. Instead of the real card number, a special digital code token is used, and each transaction is confirmed by a fingerprint, iris recognition or PIN-code of the application. The Samsung KNOX platform is responsible for security at the software and hardware levels, regardless of the operating system of the device.
