Changes in the Management Board of AO UniCredit Bank
Following the appointment of Kirill Zhukov-Emelyanov Chairman of the Management Board of AO UniCredit Bank, the Supervisory Board of the Bank nominated Vadim Aparkhov, current Head of Large Corporates Department, as candidate for the role of Member of the Management Board of AO UniCredit Bank, in charge of Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB). He will formally start his new position following the regulatory approval of his appointment by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
Kirill Zhukov-Emelyanov, Chairman of the Management Board of AO UniCredit Bank, stated: “Large corporate clients of AO UniCredit Bank have known Vadim Aparkhov as head of relevant department for more than 10 years. This will come as very good news for them as Vadim possesses more than a decade experience of successful collaboration with the important segment of CIB Block. Vadim Aparkhov started banking career with International Moscow Bank in trade finance and documentary business in 1994. In 1998 he joined commercial department of BNP-Dresdner Bank, Moscow, where he was in charge of client relations with Russian natural resources corporates and off-shore commodities traders. In 2002 Vadim Aparkhov has joined commercial department of Banque Societe Generale Vostok (BSGV) to serve large Russian exporters. Later in 2005 he was appointed head of corporate & structured finance department, natural resources sector. In 2007 he was promoted to managing director of top corporates department servicing large Russian and international corporate clients. In 2010 Vadim Aparkhov joined AO UniCredit Bank as head of large corporates department.
V.V. Aparkhov graduated with honours from Moscow Technological University STANKIN, Moscow, with M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and holds MBA in Business Economics under the joint education programme of California State University, Hayward, (CSUH) and Academy of National Economy of Russia, Moscow.
