The Bank of Russia has approved the list of systemically important credit institutions based on the methodology established by Bank of Russia Ordinance No. 3737-U ‘On the Methodology for Determining Systemically Important Credit Institutions’, dated 22 July 2015.The list includes ten banks which account for over 60% of overall Russian banking sector assets.
UniCredit Bank has been included into the list along with others largest Russian banks.

The said credit institutions will fall under the requirements to comply with a short-term liquidity coverage ratio and additional capital adequacy requirements in accordance with Basel III.
