In compliance with the Federal Law #115-FZ dated August 7th, 2001 on Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Terrorism Financing and Bank of Russia requirements, AO UniCredit Bank elaborated and implemented the «Rules of internal control of AO UniCredit Bank, aimed at Anti Money Laundering and Countering Terrorism Financing» (The Rules).
AO UniCredit Bank, being a part of UniCredit Group follows the Global Compliance Policy and AML Guidelines based on the best international standards and the principle of full compliance with the legislative requirements in all countries of the Group presence.
The Bank appointed an AML officer who is responsible for practical implementation and realization of the Rules.

Hereby please be informed that AO UniCredit Bank doesn’t open anonymous accounts and doesn’t establish relationships with shell banks-nonresidents, that incorporated in a jurisdiction in which it has no physical presence and which is unaffiliated with a regulated financial group. Also, the Bank does not conduct transactions with or on behalf of shell banks through any of its accounts or products.
We ask our counteragents (including correspondent banks) to inform us on the measures undertaken by your organization in area of Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Terrorism Financing by sending a completed Questionnaire of the credit organization.
According to the requirements of the Federal Law #115-FZ dated August 7th, 2001 on Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Terrorism Financing, the Bank must collect, update, research and analyse actual identification information and verification documents of all customers, their representatives, beneficial owners and other connected persons.
In case of any changes in your personal data or request from the Bank, updated customer questionnaire should be provided to the Bank within 7 days.
Along with customer questionnaire, please provide also filled in and signed by you questionnaires of representatives and/or beneficiaries.
Representative of a customer is a person with designated authority to act on behalf of another person, group, or organization. The authority to represent is granted by law or another act of the state body, by contract or by power of attorney:
- Senior Executive Officer
- Chief accountant
- Person, mentioned in Specimen Signature Card
- Person, authorized to withdraw cash from legal entity's accounts
- Person, authorized to provide payment and other orders for transactions on the client's account
- Person, authorized to receive the Bank electronic keys, payment cards with PINs, cheque-books for further transactions on the client's account
- Additional cards holders
Beneficiary of a customer is a person to whose benefit customer acts, including operations with cash and other property on the basis of the Agency or Commission/Trust agreement.
In accordance to the changes dated 30.06.2013 in Federal law #115-FZ, including item 14, article 7, we kindly ask to provide information about ultimate beneficial owners.
Beneficial owner is a person, who owns directly (or indirectly, through 3d persons) at least twenty-five percent of the shares or voting rights in a legal entity, or has an opportunity to control the business.
In case of rejection of providing information about ultimate beneficial owners official note, properly signed and sealed, must be sent to the Bank with description of the reason of reject.

The Bank reserves the right not to establish relationships with or process transactions connected to individuals or legal entities named on the EU and/or UN and/or OFAC Sanctions List, nor with legal entities owned or controlled by such persons.
